STARGATE PHOTOBOOTH

The Stargate is a replica prop spanning at 13ft in height by 8ft width, from the 1994 film and subsequent television series - a ring shaped portal that enables rapid transportation to another Stargate across the cosmos.

The Stargate photobooth will be set up for the day by The Creative Arts Dept from Ashford College and their students, mentored by Luke Yates from Way Ahead Photography

Ashford College will also have an interactive stand for you to have a taster of the different creative arts courses on offer at their college.
Block-print your own artwork to take home, with the help from the Art & Design Dept and produce your own mix of sci-fi music with help from the Music Technology Dept.
The Creative Arts course lecturers will also be on hand to help and with advice and information about the creative courses that they teach at the college.

So come along and have your photo taken with the Stargate and be a part of this fantastic exhibit, and take home a memorable picture from the day!

And come and meet the Creative Arts team from Ashford College!

Hoggle Puppet (The Labyrinth)

Hoggle is a full size replica puppet/prop and he has been beautifully recreated by master craftsman and prop expert Dugg Daynes and we are delighted that he has agreed to bring his Hoggle to Folkestone.

Hoggle is a resident of the Labyrinth and he is the first person that Sarah meets once she has embarked on her quest to rescue her baby brother Toby from the clutches of Jareth the Goblin King, (played by David Bowie).

BB8

This fully animatronic model is the creation of Richard Knights and we are proud that he has agreed to bring his BB-8 to Folkestone.

BB-8 is the orange and white spherical astromech droid from Star Wars - The Force Awakens (2015).

He is never far from Poe Dameron's side but when they are separated, BB-8 enlists the help of Rey and Finn in order to complete his mission for General Leia Organa and the New Republic

With fully operational wings, you will be in awe of these amazing fairy costumes. They will also be helping with fundraising for the Help for Heroes charity on the day
